For 20 12 Riverstones Church .. this is our theme scripture .. our cornerstone for the year

All that we are - all that we do – at Church Home Work Living Shopping

God’s amazing presence will joyfully take us through all situations we face this year

He will show us where to go and it will be pleasurable.

Pastor Gina challenged us to “clean out our cupboard” - To make better choices.

To choose “right” practices for or life .. not being comfortable with Worldly values

But committing to follow God’s Way

Last week Karen gave us an excellent message on “Weathering the Storms of our Lives”

Relationship between storms and change. Do we wait for the inevitable .. or are we prepared.

How much strain are we willing to take before we surrender to God

Being a pleasing aroma – showing God to others

I spoke on building for the future .. establishing an inheritance for our grandchildren

Prov 13:22 NKJV A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children

We must continue to leave a legacy - in the natural and in The Spirit

Establish new things now .. for both the present (us) and the ones yet to come to Christ

This year – our desire is that every facet of life at Riverstones Church will involve this

Changes / Continuations for 20 12

Family Sunday

• 1^st Sunday of month often with a social event / meal as well

K4J Childrens

• 2^nd – 5^th Sundays in School term
• Karen is overseer with Karina, Liz &  Kanishka
• Sourcing a new curriculum & encouraging children to bring Bibles to love using them – at home too

Night Church

• will be 2^nd and 4^th Sundays
• Leaving Family Sunday .. to be a family day .. lunch / tea / social time
• Testimonies - Flowing in all the Gifts of the Holy Spirit
• Once a term r3 take a night

Home Groups

• Change name from connect groups ... two to start
• Judith’s  Elderslea & Aunty Val’s  Heretaunga
• One or two more to came
• Every Wednesday night

Corporate Prayer

• Originally one Wed a month / changed to two – tried Sunday nights
• W M B Monday prayer – powerful active unity well attended
• Home groups & r3 advised each Wed of Prayer & Praise Points
• Fifth Friday Month Mar/Jun/Aug/Nov NIGHT OF PRAYER 6pm–10pm +

R3 Youth

• Continuing every Wed night – school term
• Dropping Maidstone Max – wrong age group and time
• Looking to more into High Schools
• Tony Anthony – try Upper Hutt Col Heretaunga Col & Hibs
• Planning Missions trip ? Possibly to the Phillipines

Love – Caring – Honour Demonstrating God’s love by being loving, caring and honouring

Community Reaching out and giving assistance in areas of need in our local community and beyond

Holy Spirit Being empowered by The Holy Spirit to do all things in excellence for The Lord

DNA continues Who we are at Riverstones

Hover around in His Presence ... fulfilling these areas ..

But 2012 Ps Gina and I both feel there is more

As we seek His guidance .. His will .. In the face of strong opposition

We continually see a bigger picture

The weapons of our warfare are great defensive weapons when we hold them

But they are magnificent attacking weapons when we sling them ... at the Demonic opposition in the lives of those who live in Upper Hutt

Opens up car parking – council one per 2.7 seats in church (52 today / 140 seats)
