• We will  have a gas BBQ to use

Travel north on State Highway 2 turning left at Waterworks Rd (5.4km north of Upper Hutt). The road is signposted to Kaitoke Regional Park.

Travel to the end of Waterworks Rd 2km  past the Camping Ground. Park in the large car park on the left and walk over the concrete bridge to Rivendell.

There are several walks in the area.
